My life has been given to me by a gracious and loving God. It is my goal to live my life for Him, glorifying Him with my time, talent, and treasure. Thank you God for sending your precious son Jesus to be my Savior!!! Thank you for Your Holy Spirit that empowers and fills me with your love.

My simple explanation of the Good News (Gospel):

How can we honor God? God created us to glorify and honor Him. The truth is, we can't on our own. Lets be honest, we have all broken God's law. That is bad news in a society that thinks everyone is pretty good on their own. The truth is, we aren't good on our own. In the Bible it says that our hearts are wicked and that our good deeds are like filthy garment. A rich young man once asked Jesus what he had to do to get eternal life. Jesus told him. The young man went away sad, and Jesus' disciples asked how anyone could possibly get eternal life if this young man who seemed to have it all together could not. Jesus simply answered, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)."

God did make it possible. He made it possible by sending His Son. Jesus lived a perfect life. He was killed, and in His death, He proved His power by freeing the world from the bondage of sin and death. If you believe in Jesus, he promises to wash you white as snow and make you His child. The best part about that is that you will be with Him forever in Heaven. That is good news if you ask me.

Since we could not be good on our own, God gave us Jesus' goodness through the cross so that we could have an eternal relationship with our perfect, holy God. Do you believe?
